Chocolate

Two posts in one day that's pretty good for me. Ian decided to get into the chocolate covered pretzels I made. I guess I did not put them up high enough. Guilty I think so!! But he is so darn cute when he has done something wrong.

A little on life..

It has been awhile but allot has happened. I feel like I have been so busy and not had a moment to stop. Thanksgiving was great and we spent it with my family. This year my sisters and I decided we would try and make Thanksgiving really exciting for the kids. I decided to have the kids color a fun Thanksgiving page and make turkey hands. Andrea had the kids make corn cobs with colored corn kernels. The day was full of fun Thanksgiving day things. Football and guitar hero were the Boys things and I finished up making Christmas stockings for Cade and Daisy. Dinner was great as always full of all the things we love! Jason and I went through the Black Friday ads in hopes of some good deals. We were lucky enough to be able to get a new camera. Now I will be able to post more pictures and get the cute moments that I have not been able to get on camera. Jason took the big shopping day off and we had so much fun doing what we never get to do SHOP! We found a bunch of good deals and almost finished up our things for the kids. As we start in to December I feel so Grateful to be as blessed as we are in hard times. I have been able to stay home with my three kids which is a really big deal to me. Jason has a stable job and loves everything about it. We have been able to build a food storage and pay off some bills. I am grateful to know that we are okay even when everything around us is not. I hope that everyone else is doing well also.

Going Private..

I was reading a friends blog today and have decided to close my blog only to viewers I choose. I guess I did not realize how open I was being by allowing anyone to view our blog. I want to be sure I keep my kids safe and my family. If you would like to view our blog please leave your email address so I can add you! Thanks..

Sundays!

I just have to vent on this ever eventful day! I appreciate the fact that I have three great kids but when it comes to Sunday I have a really hard time dealing with it all. I wake up feeling great and am thrilled to be able to get my kids to church almost always for sacrament. Jason works every Sunday so I tackle it all on my own. I arrive at church and start with sacrament. Ian screams because Brinlee did this or that I try to calm him down and he screams louder. The baby is starting to fuss and Brinlee is giving me attitude. I am trying to hold it all together and still stay calm but it just does not happen. I try to take Ian out and Brin follows. Ian and Brinlee are then running around and being naughty. I am ever so glad when nursery rolls around and I take them to class. I then quickly feed Cade and am off to Primary to full fill my calling. Four o'clock rolls along I get Ian and Brin we go home and I start dinner. I fill like my Sundays are stress packed days not spiritual uplifting days and I am left exhausted and worn out by the end. Anyone have any ideas for making these days seem a little more worth it and maybe a little eaiser? At least in January Jason will start his new schedule and I will have a little more help with my three, three and under..

Halloween!!

We really had the best Halloween anyone could ask for. It was perfect weather an amazing 60 degrees. I took Brin Ian and Cade to my parents and we spent the day awaiting our fun night. Brinlee was already a pro at Trick or Treating but for Ian this was his first "real" experience with it. Ian learned really quick that if he could be the first one to the door with Brin and Hannah behind him when the person handing the candy out leaned down to give the girls candy he could snatch some more from the bowl. Ian definitely got more than Hannah and Brinlee. Cade was our cute little bat and he rode in the stroller but was to tired to enjoy the fun. It was a great night and it really makes me happy to have my three fun kids to enjoy it with ! Brinlee is already planning what she is going to be next year, a girl after my own heart!!

Pumpkin Patch

Jason and I took the kids to the Pumpkin Patch a couple of days ago. We went to the same place as last year and at the same time as last year and there were so many pumpkins. This year not the same story it has been so warm and all the pumpkins were rotten. I was lucky enough to find a spot to sit Cade down for a picture. Ian loved to tractor and we found the perfect spot for Brin. We took some cute pictures and then went to Walmart to find the perfect pumpkin.

Brinlee The Mermaid

Halloween is almost here and Brinlee is so excited! This year Brinlee wanted to be Ariel. I looked around and was not about to pay 30.00 for a costume. I called my mom and we came up with this. Brinlee loves it and it cost way less. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and it is always so much more fun when you can enjoy it with your kids. I am sure there will be more pictures to come..

Cade Kevin Law

He is finally here! Can I just say how much I truly enjoy having boys? I thought for sure Ian would be the best baby I would have but really Cade is just as great. I was scheduled for an induction for the 27th. I was induced by 9:00 and had Cade and 3:24. It was probably the easiest delivery by far and I am already up and moving and I have almost no pain. I am so grateful to finally not be pregnant. We are really happy to finally have this little guy here with us.

Kacey and Kelsey

Kacey and Kelsey were married on August 2nd in the Denver temple. Kelsey looked so pretty and Kacey was beyond happy to finally have the day come along. The day of their wedding was ridiculously hot and the kids and I were misserable but I would not of missed it. Their reception that night was a lot of fun. Brinlee asked me the next morning if she could go to the Temple again and Dance! Congratulations to you both we are so happy for you!

4th of July parade with Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Sage..

I decided to pick something from the last three months that we had done and post about it. My parents decided to come and stay with us over the 4th. We packed our day full of fun stuff. Brinlee is really into making a big deal out of the holidays and I love to see her so excited so I am sure to make it fun. We woke up and went to the Greeley Parade at 9:00. When we got home we made sugar cookies in the shape of stars and decorated them. I made up a flag art project which turned out really cute, and that night we went to see fire works. Here are some pictures of our fun day! (p.s. I know I look like a whale! Just wait until the next post! I have decided I just do not care it is to hot and I am amazed I am still alive!!:)

Trip to Utah and the Hoggle Zoo

I know it has been a while since my last post so I am going to try and catch up and do better! In June Jason and I finally got to take some time and visit family in Utah. It was a really fun vacation and Brin and Ian had a lot of fun with their cousins. We also went to the Hoggle Zoo and Brin and Ian loved it! I think I like the Hoggle Zoo better than the Denver Zoo.

What a year!

I know I am a little late on posting this but I never post on time anyway! This last year was an incredibly trying year for Jason and I. Our marriage was never better but we endured so much. It was really exciting to have Jason finish school in May and start a new job in August. Of course with all good things comes the trials. Jasons hours are long and his shifts change about every four weeks from days to nights to swings. Over the last four months we have had to make a lot of sacrifices and Jason has been working really hard to prove himself! Jason and I are hoping that within time it will all pay off and we will be able to move forward. We are very grateful to have Brinlee and Ian it truly is a blessing to be able to watch them grow everyday. It is an amazing experience watching Brin start to learn about praying and reading her scripture books. Jason and I are excited for another year together and we are looking forward to having some time together! We are thankful for the blessings in our lives and know that Heavenly Father hears our prayers. We are thankful for friends and family and their support in our lives. We have high hopes and a lot of goals for this next year that we want to fullfill. I am hoping that as this new year is starting I can be better about updating the blog so we can keep everyone updated on our family. Hooray for a new year and a new start!

P.S. Our son being a little boy he is broke our camera.. no threw it and shattered it! So until we get a new one there wont be a lot of pictures.

Well another year has gone by and our little boy is now one! Ian got so many fun gifts and had such a great birthday. Ian is very destructive so Jason and I found a toy that he could destroy while still having fun.. boys! I have loved the first year so much and enjoyed so much of just being a mom of a baby. Now that Ian is one we are starting into the toddler years and the fun really begins!! I am so happy to be able to experience such fun times in my kids lives and be a part of their growing! We love you Ian and Happy Birthday!!
